Our family loves this place, pizza is amazing so are the pasta dishes my partner enjoys their Shrimp Parm over spaghetti also love their homemade soups and their app sausage and brocolirabe lol spell it wrong cheessteak delicious most of the staff are kind multi tasking only had an issue with one but nit everyone can be a good server you either got it or you dont, seems more today then I've ever seen waitress today but not all dont know how to make money doing their jobs right, word of advice if your not making money serving its your attitude that's the problem not the customers

I visited Sal & Joe's for the first time today, even though I've only lived 5 miles from it for over 20 years. TBH--I never knew it was there! Now that I do, it will be my go-to for local pizza. Please understand: this review is about pizza, and pizza only, since my husband and I went for lunch and that's what we both ordered. Let me say--we eat a lot of pizza. Probably too much, but we both REALLY like it! We will drive well over an hour to our favorite spot down the shore (Sam's, on the Wildwood boardwalk) and often more than 30 minutes to another great spot we love in Browns Mills, Riccardo's. But, we finally have a LOCAL place that will be our new go-to! The pizza at Sal & Joe's has a thin, crispy crust (just how we like it) and is full of flavor. I had a plain slice and a white with broccoli. So good! My husband had a pizzette with pepperoni, which he thoroughly enjoyed. If you're the type of person who has to have a Coke with their slice--like we are--you will not be disappointed! The fountain Coke is the perfect mix of syrup and carbonation. IYKYK... Sal & Joe's will be our new neighborhood favorite.

They had the blinds down so It is a bit shaded so better for comfy cozy dining. I personally like a bit more light. Service is very friendly. Got a simple overstuffed hoagie, was very nicely made. Very quick turnover. Only thing I would said is maybe hollow out the bread to squeeze the filling in easier while holding and personally prefer more filling. Will be back to try their meatball sub or white pizza next time I’m around.

Cheesesteak craving satisfied! It was packed to-go in a cardboard container which helped it stay warm and intact. You could see it was prepared with care. Not bland at all with the perfect amount of fried onions. The roll was fresh and soft. Overall, a winner.

This was legit the best pizza I have ever eaten. The Cesar salad was also bomb. Ordering pasta in tonight!

ALWAYS a great choice. The hard part is that the menu has so many delicious options it's hard to choose. Just like eating at Grandma's You will not leave here hungry. Entrees come with soup AND a salad. The staff is friendly and attentive. The timing was perfect. We were just finishing our salad when the entree came out. Not rushed, just perfect. Limited seating outside and lots of room inside.

If I could give more stars, I would! We sat in the truck after and talked about how perfect everything was before we drove away. Thank you for a beautiful experience for our mid-afternoon lunch!
